Kindness Matters~A Challenge. Are You In?

This past 24 hours have been crazy. Social media is blowing up over the fact that Donald Trump was elected as our new president. I think everyone has been impacted in one way or another through this election. I won't say who I voted for. As I said on Facebook earlier, what's done is done. He will be our 45th president. This is where the American people need to come together, not divide. WE are in this together. Now, more than ever we need to pray for this country and our new leadership.
I find peace in knowing that God has known the outcome all along. For a long time I was terrified of Trump. Yet, through prayer I feel peace because God is ultimately in control.

I watched hate being spewed on Facebook today. I see that there are protests going on all over the country. We don't have to let it become this way.

My friend asked people to preform an act of kindness instead of wishing her a happy birthday next week, which I can't wait to do!

But, if you're reading this, I challenge YOU to do an act of kindness tomorrow. Spread love. Spread kindness. It can be random or not so random. It can be anything. Compliment someone, drop a letter in the mail to someone who might need encouragement, pay for someone's meal, give someone a hug. Encourage others to do the same.

You can share your act or keep it private. That's totally up to you.

  1. I agree totally Rachel, I try to be kind on a daily basis, it's part of my job, but more I pray a lot that Jesus' light will shine out from me, it's hard to do that if you are being unkind. What a lovely birthday wish ;) It will be fun to read what you do! Love you Mommagirl
