We took Daniel to preschool this morning and then came home and James and I played for awhile. I got some cleaning done and he napped for awhile until it was time to go back for Daniel. Those 2 hours fly by! He had a great day and was excited to learn we were going to Aldi. It's the little things. He helped me put things in the cart. Poor kid though. At one point I opened a door to grab the eggs and Daniel had put his finger in the side the hinges are on. He let out a shriek of pain and started sobbing. I felt so bad, even though it was an accident. Thankfully he was okay though. I'm sure it'll be bruised tomorrow, and it was pretty fat most of the day, but not broken or anything.
After rest/naps this afternoon we went for a nice walk before it got dark. There were tons of crunchy leaves to stomp through and Daniel got to see his dog friend, Nika.

I figured we'd better get out today since tomorrow we're supposed to have severe weather, although it sounds like it won't hit until tomorrow night. I'd love a big storm, but it sounds like we may end up in the basement, and I'd just rather not! Daniel gets fixated on things that happen that are out of the ordinary. The last time the sirens went off he talked about it 10 times a day for weeks on end!
Tonight, since Jacob was at school late we ate supper and then I gave both boys a bath. I do that when Jacob is home sometimes too, but it was exhausting tonight. James thinks it's funny to pull up in the bathtub, and every time I sat him back down, he'd stand back up. Then I had to dry him off and put his PJ's on, which isn't easy when he's twisting his body in every direction and screaming his head off because he wants back in the bathroom. Meanwhile, Daniel is contentedly playing with James' new bath toys. Since the bathroom and the bedroom are attached, I don't mind leaving Daniel alone since I'm literally right there and usually still talking to him the whole time. I quickly got him out and James decided it would be fun to open dresser drawers and pull things out. It was driving me crazy!
Then we Skyped with my parents, hung out and then it was off to bed. That's where I'm off too in a few minutes!
Zzzz
