Sickish Sunday

Everyone in the Elam household has a cold. Jacob's started over a week ago, and he's just starting to feel better today. Daniel's started Tuesday or Wednesday and mine began Friday night. Needless to say, I'm feeling pretty crappy today. I have zero energy and that extra hour has just made the day drag on.

Poor Daniel isn't himself either. Sadly sickness doesn't effect his energy though. I guess it kind of does, but he's still being ornery! Thankfully Jacob has been able to tag team with me today so I didn't have to get up and chase him every single time.

His nose is red and bloody from being wiped so much. It's like a leaky faucet. He thought the nose sucker was HILARIOUS on Friday night when I used it. Now...not so much. He keeps getting a low grade fever too, so I've been loading him up on Tylenol. He's been fussier than usual too. I can't say I blame him. I've been whining too!

And, of course, I start at the YMCA tomorrow. There is no way I'm calling in sick on my first day, so I'm praying that Daniel is at least starting to feel better tomorrow. I can tough it out. I've worked sicker than this before, I just feel guilty making him tough it out! Actually, he'll probably be distracted playing with new toys, so hopefully it'll all be fine!

I do believe we will have an early bed time tonight!
