Tomorrow is the first day of September! It's exciting to know that in about 11 weeks give or take a little we will be meeting our son. Time really seemed to be flying until the past couple of weeks. I think once vacation ended, it slowed down. For Jacob time is starting to speed up because he's back at work and busy all the time!
I had a rough night last night. Probably the worst since finding out I was pregnant. It started with a headache and dizziness. Then I went to bed and woke up 30 minutes later choking on acid reflux that had come up in my sleep. It was not pleasant. It happened again 30 minutes later. I slept restlessly all night and then I woke up around 5 and had a shooting pain in my side right under my ribcage. No matter which side I laid on pain would shoot down my side and into my leg. I finally decided to get up, and what did I do? Stubbed my little toe on the bed frame. It's got a nice bruise now.Ouch! Thankfully, I felt better as the day went on. I keep getting told that the 3rd trimester is the worst. I'm just hoping that I can sleep a little bit better tonight. Daniel didn't seem bother by anything though. That little guy is always on the move!
This weekend my parents are coming! They're going to get here Friday night and then go home on Monday morning. Plus Jacob's parents are going to come over on Sunday afternoon so we can all spend time together and grill out. I've been craving a grilled hot dog for awhile now.
I'm so excited for Saturday! FOOTBALL SEASON STARTS!!!! I checked our TV listings and they're supposed to be airing the Iowa game on Big Ten Network, which means we'll be able to watch Iowa and Illinois! Gotta see if I have an Iowa shirt that fits! Mom and I are going to hang up some pictures in Daniel's room. We've got to take the bed apart to make room for his things by the end of the weekend. Then on Monday after they leave Jacob is going to start putting everything together for his room! I'm excited to get it all ready. I really have the itch to set it all up. It's driving me crazy just seeing all of the boxes because I want to see it all put together!
Guess that's about all for this post!
I wouldn't say the third trimester is the worst it's just really different. It's when you're the biggest so you start getting really uncomfortable. And with A I had heartburn and had to pee constantly at night. Otherwise, I still enjoyed my third trimester. Not nearly as much as the second but the first one was really hard with A. And of course this time around everything is so different albeit easier. Don't know what it is but I'm thankful for it.
ReplyDeleteHope your pain doesn't come back tonight.
