Random Stuff From Randomly Rachel

Does anyone else feel like this week is taking forever? I have a hunch it's because I'm looking forward to next week already. 3 day work week and a 4 day weekend. If I'm lucky I'll be off early on Wednesday too.

Yesterday was nice though. I only had 4 babies and at 1:00 the twins went home, so I hung out with my 2 and then my 2 favorite toddlers came over to visit me too! It was a very low stress kind of day.

Today we had 6 and it was a lot crazier. Mostly just fussy babies One in particular that I have a hard time dealing with. He's just fusses. All. Day. Long. Usually kids who drive me nuts in the beginning eventually grow on me, so here's hoping. My kids also thought it would be funny to pee all over the changing table today. I hadn't had that happen in a long time and then today one baby went twice in a row and my little boy shot it straight up in the air! Ha ha!

My favorite little toddler came over again (he visits me almost every afternoon) and I had to put him in timeout for the first time ever. You would've thought I had broken his heart. Poor little guy! But he needed one, and he seemed to get over it pretty quickly. I always think it's funny how you can upset a kid to badly, and they're over it 3 minutes later. I wish that worked for me!

Only 2 more days and then it's the weekend! I'm just hanging out at home Saturday. Have lots of stuff I want to get done, but we'll see how far I get. Jacob will be at IMEA all day.

Like I said, I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving. It'll just my us, my parent's, Kendra and my grandparent's this year, but it'll be a good time! Friday we'll go out shopping for a new TV. My dad is watching ads and is going to help  us pick one out. We're not buying Christmas presents for each other this year to help pay for it. It'll cost more than what would be spend on each other for sure, but it'll at least help with the cost. I'm pretty excited to get it though!

Then the next weekend we're going car shopping! We're just going to be spending money right and left. Spending money always makes me tense, but I know these purchases are coming. I'm prepping myself!  I'm excited for both. The TV is totally just a want, but the car is a need. It just keeps on truckin', but I'm way too scared to drive it this winter. I won't even drive it out of town on my own.

Anyway, this has been random enough.
