I've never been good at living for the moment. I'm always looking ahead on the calendar to events that are coming up. It's not really that I'm not content with my life, I just love to have something to look forward to. Some people might say that I'm wishing my life away. I don't feel like I am though. Like I said in a previous post, I'm a planner. I love knowing when events are going to happen, so knowing really far in advance is a bonus to me. I tend to drive Jacob crazy with all of my countdowns. Ha ha!
So, what I am I looking forward to right now?
*Illinois vs. Minnesota football game this Saturday. (Totally hoping that this awesome weather will hold out until then)
*Seeing Central A&M Middle School's production of "The Wizard of Oz" this weekend...twice!
*Watching Iowa defeat the Buckeyes (On TV...wish it were in real life!)
*Going home to Iowa for Thanksgiving. 4 day weekend...and I get to see my best friend too!
*Getting a Black Friday deal on a new TV for our living room. Planning to go HD! Woohoo! It's our Christmas present.
*Celebrating Christmas in Villa Grove!
*Celebrating Christmas in Iowa...just don't know when yet!
*Going to California for Erica and Jim's wedding...once the date is able to get set. Here's hoping I can get out of the Midwest this winter and get some California sunshine.
*Going to an Illinois vs. Iowa basketball game. I may be the only one decked out in Black and Gold, but I don't care!
That just gets me through the next or 4 months! :)
I'm pretty sure you got you get your planning ahead from me. :) And, I think that's pretty good quality to pass on.

i'm not really a planner....but that's not really true because sometimes i like to know the plan but most times i don't wanna make the plans...but that's not really true because i do like to make the plans...great...now i'm confused. Thanks rachel! ;) Love you!

I want to be a better planner. I am reading up on flylady.com to help me out with that -- and otehr tips. I look forward to a house that will be DECLUTTERED!!!
