Getting ready to start a busy weekend! Yesterday just kept going and going. It was long and it was boring, hence the survey as my post yesterday. The only productive thing I did was make an eye appointment, which I've been putting off. No vision insurance, so I didn't want to have to pay an arm and a leg. I still will, but I think in the end it's more worth it to pay and big lump sum, than have another large sum come out of Jacob's paycheck every month. I think vision should be included in health! Good grief. Now I just have to wait 3 weeks before I can get it. My right eye is too fuzzy for my liking and it really started bothering the other night. I may have to switch to my glasses for awhile. I still can't see the greatest with them, but they aren't as fuzzy as my contacts get.
We're getting ready to head to the last Illinois home game. We've actually been able to go to all of them this year and it's been a lot of fun. This is probably our last year for getting season tickets, still haven't fully decided yet. I'll miss the atmosphere of going to a game but it'll save money for sure. Especially since after we buy the tickets, we have to drive to the game and spend gas money, we almost always get food at the stadium and sometimes it gets pretty cold too! Next year we'll have a big ol' TV to watch them on, and maybe we can still go to a game!
Tonight is the A&M musical! Since we won't have time to come home after the game, it appears that I've packed for a night away. I had to pack a whole new set of clothes just in case I get rained on. I hate getting wet and there's some rain in the forecast. This also means my hair will get messed up and frizzy...no need to fear, I packed my straightener. I'm slightly vain.
I'll be cheering on my Hawkeyes in my heart today and hoping my mom will text me score updates. I've got on my Iowa socks with my Illinois stuff. Need a little black and gold on me today!
Sorry about your eye :-/ How weird that it's fuzzy, but hopefully it's just something simple.
ReplyDeleteHave fun today! Sounds like it's going to be a busy one :)
Have a great day and hopfully you'll stay warm and dry. Love the Iowa socks on under the Illinois gear. lol Go Hawkeyes and Illini! love you, mom
ReplyDeleteSad day for your Hawks...
ReplyDeleteI think that is a wise decision on the "season tickets" myself - but that is me. :)
I love our big TV.
I hope you got warmed up after sitting out there and freezing today!
