I used my phone to get updates on the Iowa game while we watched Illinois. It was a CRAZY game! Iowa's seemed boring until the very end. Somehow they were playing terribly against Indiana. Big 10 Network switched to the Iowa game in the last 2 minutes. Iowa should have lost. Indiana dropped a touchdown in the end zone that would have ended the game. In fact, I thought it HAD ended the game. I crumpled to the floor yelling, "NOOOOOOOOOO!" Jacob started yelling, "IT'S NO GOOD! HE DROPPED IT!" I didn't believe it was real until the time clock ran completely down. That game was won by pure luck!

We flipped back to the Illinois/Michigan game and it was about to get even crazier. The game went into triple overtime! Jacob's emotions were now getting the best of him. Sadly, the outcome of that game didn't turn out well. Michigan won 67-65...can you believe that score!? It was a good game though, just wish Illinois could've gotten the win too.
I wish they could have won, too. And I was completly amazed that Iowa won. :) Have a good night. love you, mom
ReplyDeleteDoug and I used to watch a lot of football, and especially basketball, I just don't have the desire to watch at least for now. I am glad you and Jacob enjoy football so much!!! love you, girl
ReplyDeleteI have decided not to watch football anymore - ever since I got so carried away when the Colts played - I think it is in my best nature to stop! I felt like I was on the edge of my seat and they just had to get a touch down or else -- that is just wrong for me. Jerry like to do that - but I don't like it. I am so glad though that you and Jacob enJOY it so much! TOUCH DOWN!!!
